NKH Presentation during Lunch March 2013
To kick off the "No Kid Hungry" campaign we set up a short informational presentation during lunch to inform the student body as to why they should help FCCLA's campaign, and what "No Kid Hungry" does for the children of America. During this presentation we showed a short informational video found on www.nokidhungry2.org then announced the opportunities for students to get involved and help the cause.
School Board Meeting March 2013
During our "No Kid Hungry" campaign Elizabeth School District Executive Administration Assistant Michele McCarron helped us promote our campaign immensely! Without her help and that of the Elizabeth school district school board, we would not have made near the impact we did. Just before the dodge ball tournament we were asked to speak at a school board meeting where we were able to educate those who attended on the "No Kid Hungry" campaign and promote our main event, the official dodge ball tournament. Minutes from the school board meeting was sent to all parents and staff in the Elizabeth School district to get the word out about our campaign.

Through the help of Michele McCarron the promotion and success of our efforts were put into the local newspapers, district, and Elizabeth high school websites. Within Elizabeth High School many informational announcements were heard throughout the school educating the student body with daily facts. We used these methods to educate both parents and students on a larger scale on our "No Kid Hungry" campaign, and inform them of the upcoming events that would help raise money for the "No Kid Hungry" organization.
FCCLA National Leadership Conference July 2013
Natasha and member Emily Mohlis traveled to the 2012-2013 National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee and participated in the spotlight on projects with a "No Kid Hungry" board, brochure, and other publicizing materials were created to share with other FCCLA members on the success we had with our campaign.

Promoting is the most important part of making the "No Kid Hungry" campaign such a success. Not only did it promote the events we had planned, it also publicized the organization and our efforts. For our second campaign we increased our promoting and publicizing.
Running Creek Elementary School 2014
For our second campaign, one of our main goals was to make a difference within the kids in our own area. We contacted both of our local elementary schools and one of the principals very kindly agreed to help us with our efforts. 10 of our No Kid Hungry shirts were sold to staff, a "Wear Orange Day" was hosted and kids brought in over 200 canned food goods!
